Notice of Annual General Meeting

Notice is hereby given of the Annual General Meeting of the Chilliwack Animal Safe Haven taking place on Tuesday, June 16th 2026, 7:00 pm PDT. The agenda and details of the meeting were provided in a previous email. Voting for the Board of Directors will be done in advance, with the results presented at the AGM. Members have until Monday, June 15th 2026, 11:59 pm PDT to submit their vote. Please note, members are not required to attend the Virtual AGM in order to vote.
Please note that the majority of positions were acclaimed as only one candidate came forward for each. There is ONLY ONE position that requires a vote, Vice President. Please click the “Vote Now” link in the email to submit your vote. The Bios for each of the Acclaimed Directors, as well as for the two candidates for Vice President, were attached to the email.
The certified 2025 Financial Statements will be presented at the AGM for adoption by members. The Moderator will explain how this works at the beginning of the meeting, but members will use a Voting Poll button to adopt them. The email sent incorrectly stated a ‘raise your hand’ approach to adopting the financial statements, however, GetQuorum has now advised that it will be a Voting Poll. The Moderator will take the official counts and present them.
Important: please note that the proxy tool (Voting tool) may not work on some older web browsers such as Internet Explorer. The best experience we find is on Google Chrome but it will also work on the latest versions of Safari and Firefox.
